KhetLock

A farm plot and a season are registered on-chain. NASA FIRMS satellite fire data checks the claim: no fire means one attestation credit can be minted, a detected fire means rejection with the evidence shown, and any credit can be retired exactly once, publicly and irreversibly.

The problem

Every October and November, paddy stubble is burned across Punjab and Haryana. Subsidy and carbon payments for not burning are claimed on the same plot, in the same season, sometimes twice, with weak proof either way. KhetLock makes the claim itself the on-chain object: one plot, one season, at most one credit, decided by independent satellite evidence.
